TTI's HOTELS IN EDINBURGH (GBR)
|
Thames Travel International selected a number of traditional hotels in the most swinging city of the British Isles. Warm welcome and affordable prices. Not the big international chain hotels, but smaller, often family run hotels, each with their own character.
A visit to Edinburgh is a must. A city with a medieval character, lots of great sights to see, but also a modern 21th century city.
Everyone has heard about Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace, connected by the famous Royal Mile. The world famous shopping area around Princess Street is not to be missed. Enjoy a meal in one of the many bistro’s or pubs and become one with the friendly population of this great city.
A stay in the Scottish capital is ideal for those who are about to explore the highlands (or just have done that), but also as the destination for a city trip. With DFDS Seaways it is just a few hours drive from Newcastle and if travelling with Superfast Ferries one arrives within 10 miles from the city cente.
In the prices below you may notice that a stay in Edinburgh in the month of August is the most expensive. This is due to the Edinburgh festival, attracting tens of thousands of visitors.
