This is a holiday for those who want to get away from the hasty modern society, the busy cities and the sometimes unbearable work pressure. Here is peace and tranquillity (except when it storms), stunning nature and the best beaches you can imagine.

Let us take you on this tour that is unlike all others. Do yourself a favour and experience these wonderful islands, the Hebrides, or as the Scottish call them: The heavenly hell islands !

Itinerary:

Day 1	By cruise ferry from IJmuiden to Newcastle. Included is a 2-berth inner cabin en suite. You may make reservations for your meals on board in advance. Depart 18:00h from IJmuiden (NED) to Newcastle (GBR)
Day 2	Arrival 09:00h in Newcastle after breakfast. Making your way north you will reach the Scottish border in well under 2 hours. Here you stay your first night in a friendly inn in Southern Scotland.
Day 3	Further west. Travel at your leisure. There is so much to see and to admire. Late afternoon you reach the port of Oban, where you will stay for the night.
Day 4-5	By Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Oban to the Island of South Uist, a 5 hour journey. You will arrive in the port of Lochboisdale. On this island you will spend 2 nights in order to be able to enjoy this island to a maximum. You may spend the time on the island in one or in two hotels, which is subject to availability.
Day 6-7	Driving North to the islands of Benbecula and North Uist, taking a ferry to the Isle of Harris. Here you spend two nights in our wonderful Carminish House hotel, with beautiful views over the Atlantic and the most spectacular sunsets you have ever experienced.
Day 8-9	Taking the ferry from Tarbert to the largest island of the Hebrides, the Isle of Skye. Here also you will spend 2 nights. Visit the nice town of Portree, the wonderful Dunvegan castle where the Lairds of the island, the McLeod clan are still residing or one of the distilleries on the island. A walk or a ride through the Cuillin Hills is a wonderful experience.
Day 10	Cross the bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh to mainland Scotland, now heading south to Fort William, one of the most idyllic towns in Scotland, nicely situated at the foot of Britains largest mountain, the Ben Nevis.
Day 11	Further south-east to Perthshire, through the Cairngorm Mountains. Tonight you stay halfway between Perth and Edinburgh. If the tranquillity of this holidays has been a bit too much for you, you could decide to visit the beautiful Scottish capital.
Day 12	Leisurely drive to Newcastle, where the DFDS ferry leaves at 17.30 hrs.
Day 13	Arrival in IJmuiden at 09:30h
