Day 1
Begin your honeymoon with a relaxing ferry crossing from IJmuiden to Newcastle with DFDS SEAWAYS.
Why not book a cabin in the luxurious Commodore Class? The next morning you arrive in Newcastle
and proceed to your first destination in Scotland.

Travel with Superfast Ferries from the Belgian port of Zeebrugge to Rosyth (Edinburgh).

Day 2, 3 & 4
Arriving in the beautiful county of Perthshire, just north of the capital Edinburgh. For
the next 3 nights you will be staying in the superb Collearn House hotel at Auchterarder.
Ample time to explore the beautiful surroundings, such as historic Edinburgh, the Scottish
highlands, famous castles and of course a whisky distillery or two.
Day 5
Heading south to the "borders". A partly wooded area with beautiful landscapes and numerous
cattle. A wonderful drive to a wonderful hotel. This is the spectacular Philipburn Country
House in Selkirk, where the warmest welcome awaits you.
Day 6 & 7
Proceeding to the west coast. At the port of Androssan you take the Caledonian MacBraine
ferry to the Isle of Arran. Arran is Scotland in miniature, as all biotopes are gathered
here on this little island. In the "capital" Brodick visit the lovely Brodick castle and
when touring the island don’t forget to visit the Scotlands newest whisky distillery.
On Arran you will stay in the superbly located Kinloch House for the next 2 nights.
Day 8
The CalMac Ferry brings you back to mainland Scotland. This day you spend in the wonderful
county of Ayr, with it’s rough coast line, it’s friendly fishing villages and it’s busy market
towns.
Your final destination today is the port of Troon, where you stay at the luxurious Marine hotel.
Day 9
Today you travel in southern direction back to Newcastle, where the DFDS ferry takes you back
to the continent late afternoon.

Travel west to Edinburgh to catch the ferry from Rosyth to Zeebrugge.
