Our Responsibility To You
1. About your holiday booking
You can book the holidays or other offers shown on this website if they are still available. If there are any restrictions on any hoidays or offers, they will be shown in the details of the offer. When you ask us to confirm your holiday booking, and after we have received all appropriate payments we will email you, or send you by post, a letter of confirmation and an invoice, to confirm that we have reserved your chosen holiday. At this point, a binding contract between us comes into existence. When you receive the letter, you should check the details of your holiday right away. If any detail is not correct, you must tell us within ten (10) days. We regret we cannot accept any liability if we are not notified within that time. By making a holiday booking with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are authorised to make the booking on the basis of the booking conditions by all persons named on the booking, that the information detailed is correct, and that all party members agree to be bound by these conditions. You, “the party leader” are responsible for making all payments due to us. Your agreement and all that matters arising out of it are governed by Dutch law and any dispute, claim or other matter will be dealt with by the courts of the Netherlands.
2. The price of your holiday
We reserve the right to increase or decrease the prices of unsold holidays at any time. The price of your chosen holiday will be confirmed at the time of booking. We also have the right to correct errors in any advertised prices. We will do so as soon as we become aware of the error. You must check the price of your chosen holiday at the time of booking. Once we have accepted your deposit and confirmed your holiday, we guarantee that the price of your holiday will not change.
The price of your travel arrangements is subject to surcharges on the following items for increases in transportation costs e.g. fuel, goverment action such as increases of VAT or any goverment imposed increases, currency in relation to adverse exchange rate variations.
3. If we have to cancel your holiday
Unforeseen circumstances may mean we have to cancel your confirmed holiday before you depart. We have the right to do so. However, we promise we will only cancel your confirmed booking ten weeks or less before departure where we are forced to do so as a result of the “events beyond our control” listed in section 4, or where you have failed to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel, such as paying on time.
No compensation will be payable if we cancel your holiday as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel. If we have to cancel your confirmed holiday we will let you know as soon as possible. If there is time to do so before departure, we will offer you the choice of purchasing an alternative holiday from us, of a similar standard to that originally booked if available (if the chosen alternative is less expensive than your original one, we will refund the difference, but if it is more expensive, we will ask you to pay the difference). Or accepting the cancellation in which case you will receive a full and quick refund of all monies you have paid to us.
If we have to cancel ten weeks of less before departure, we will pay you compensation as shown in Scale A, unlesss we have cancelled your holiday due to one of the “Events” in Section 4.
4. Events beyond our control
We will not pay compensation, nor will we incur any liability beyond offering the above choices, where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by “force majeure” . In these booking conditions “force majeure” means an event which, we or the supplier of the services in question could not, even with all due care , foresee or avoid. Events beyond our control include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, technical problems with transport, closed or congested ports, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, health risks including epidemics, severe weather conditions, and any other similar events.
If any of these unlikely events forces us to change or end your holiday after departure but before the scheduled end of your time away, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds (unless we obtain any refunds from our suppliers), pay you any compensation, or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.
5. Paying for your holiday
You must pay a deposit of 30% of the total invoiced per booking or the full payment if booking within six weeks of departure to confirm your chosen holiday. If you wish to purchase our insurance, the premium must also be paid at the time of booking. You must then pay us the balance of the holiday cost not less than six weeks before your departure. This date will be shown on your confirmation. Reminders are not send. If we do not receive all payments due, in full and on time, we have the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you. A cancellation charge will be made if this happens, which could be as high as the total cost of your holiday.
6. Passports & Visas
All clients will require a full passport or any valid document that entitles you to travel abroad, depending on your nationality.
Visas may be required (check with your reservation consultant), also depending of one’s nationality.
Each traveller is responsible for ensuring that their travel documents are in order and no liability can be accepted by TTI for delays or additional expenses caused where passports/visas are not in order. Especially important for late booking clients.
7. If you need to change your holiday arrangements
Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed holiday, you must tell us in writing as soon as possible. If you notify us by email, you will receive a “change request received” email within 24 hours; if you do not receive one, please contact us again. While we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee we will be able to make the changes you request. Where we can, we will charge you an amendment fee of € 30 in addition to any costs incurred by ourselves and any costs or charges incurred or imposed by our supplyers. You may, in some circumstances, be able to transfer your holiday to another person; each case will be reviewed individually. When permitting a transfer, we are entitled to insist on reasonable notice and that you should meet any additional costs arising from the transfer.
8. If you need to cancel your holiday arrangements
Should you or any of your party need to cancel your chosen holiday once it has been confirmed, you must tell us immediately. Your notice of cancellation will only be effective when we receive it in writing, signed by the person who made the booking, at our offices. TTI, Cirkel 73, 4384 DS Vlissingen – the Netherlands.
To cover our costs and to compensate us for the risk of being unable to re-sell your holiday, we will charge a cancellation fee based on the following Cancellation Charges table. These charges are based on how many days before your departure you inform us of a change; they are shown as a percentage of the total cost of your holiday, not including premiums and amendment charges. Insurance premiums and amendment charges are not refundable.
Cancellation Charges Amount you must pay
More than 42 days (including) deposit
29 – 42 days 50% of holiday cost
15 – 28 days 60% of holiday cost
1 – 14 days 90% of holiday cost
0 days 100 % of holiday cost
Depending on reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made directly to the insurance company concerned.
9. TTI cancellation scheme
In order to avoid high costs for cancellation, you will be invited when you book your holiday to take part in TTI cancellation scheme.
This is an internal TTI cancellation service. Costs are 5% of the total holiday cost. If you have to cancel due to circumstances beyond your control the total cost of your holidays, minus the 5% insurance costs will be refunded.
Travelling insurances will not be supplied by TTI, except for Dutch citizens, as every insurance company inly can make travelling insurance policies for their own citizens. For clients from the Netherlands TTI will be happy to offer an adequate travelling Insurance, through one of the major companies.
10. What happens if you have a complaint
In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with your holiday whilst away, you must immediately tell the supplier of the service(s) in question and TTI at our head quarters (#31 303 96 5 97). Any verbal complaint must be put in writing then both faxed or emailed to us and given to the suppler as soon as possible. Most problems can be dealt with quickly, but untill we know about a problem or complaint, we cannot begin to resolve it. If you remain dissatisfied, however, you must write to us within 28 days of your return, giving you booking reference and full details of complaint. For all complaints and claims, which do not involve death, personal injury or illness, we regret we cannot accept liability if you fail to notify the complaint or claim as set out in this clause.
